Um, yes?!?!?!
Why wouldn’t it be?
Not only are you providing your new child with the proper nutrients for life youa re helping your body prepare for birth!
You should NOT give up exercise during pregnancy, only the last month or so, the rest of the time, keep it up!
Will you gain weight? It is highly unlikely, you will either stay the same or lose some weight.
Remember you are not eating for “two” because there is one & less then a quarter person inside you!
If you want to lose weight, stay healthy & fit & make sure your baby is fit go on a vegetarian or vegan diet whilst pregnant.
You will only have to supplement vitamin B12 & that is unlikely since most people have a reserve stored for up to three years in their body.
ALSO contrary to pupular belief brocolli & spinach have more iron then red meat & they have folic acid which prevents birth defects.
Good Luck!
Yes. To be sure you are eating healthy & getting all that you both need, ask your doctor to send you to a nutritionist. You certainly can stay healthy & possibly lose some weight also with the proper support. Exercise is also very important. You should try for an hour a day of walking, something you can do throughout your pregnancy & it will help you with delivery too. You will probably need vitamins, though.
Great going! You can do it!

It’s not responsible for an obese woman to be having a child, lose the weight first by eating healthy & exercising.
