If you are sored you should let your muscle recover by them self by waiting until you’re not sored anymore!!
But if you want to recover faster then drink some
WHEY PROTEIN!!
Good Luck
Everything I’ve heard says you should never work the same muscle group two days in a row. So, say you work your legs on Monday, don’t work them again until Wednesday. I do all muscle groups every other day.
usually the rule of thumb is to only work the same muscle every 48 hours…this is for the larg muscles groups i believe…so if u work legs on a monday, maybe work them again on wednesday or thursday…or depending on how often you want to lift, you could devide your body into the seperate groups & spread them out over a 5 day split, working each group one day a week
A good strategy is one day on, one day off. You can speed things up by alternating body parts, e.g. doing upper body work one day, & then lower body work the next while your upper body recovers.
Be sure to vary your workouts as well — free weights sometimes, machines others, changing where you grip the bar, etc., to keep the workout well-rounded & to keep your body guessing.

1 day works… if its hardcore lifting do a 2 day rest, lift, then 1 day rest etc. mixing it up is key
