Need To Gain Weight + Lose Fat….. Any Tips For Motivating Myself?

I really need to get fit… last summer I worked out & dieted for 1 month, saw decent results, but I lost motivation. I am 5″7 150lbs & want to drop 5lbs fat, gain 5-10lbs muscle.
I am trying to get myself back into that same diet, but i always end up blowing it the next day. I ran on my treadmill last week but it got boring & I haven’t ran since.
Any of you got some good tips to get me motivated (and STAY that way) ??

    Listen to upbeat music while exercising! I recommend, “Hey now” by Hillary Duff, “Barbie Girl in a Barbie World” by Aqua, & ect. lol just play them continuously. Or watch tv while exercising, & make sure the volumes’ loud enough. Maybe you could exercise WITH someone, unless you’re one of those people who gets competitive or annoyed by someone talking to you while exercising. Drink water while exercising, it gives you something to do.

    Put a before picture on your refrigerator & a goal picture (from a magazine etc) next to it. Set a time limit for reaching your goal.
    Find something that is fun for you. Rollerblading, swimming, hiking – anything that you really enjoy doing. If you hate the treadmill don’t do it. Do something you love.
