Weight Loss Tips And Muscle Gain Advice.?

For as long as i can remember, i have always been podgey, even from baby photos i was bigger than my brother & sister at the same age.
i am now nearly 19, male, 6 foot 4 inches & weigh 17 stone, thats a bmi of 29. I have recently been making drastic changes in my life to change the person i used to be – i was fed up with him. i have given up smoking finally (7 weeks strong tomorrow), i have made slight changes to my diet & the meals & times i eat, i go out a lot less (im a student), ive bought a whole new wardrobe of clothes & changed my hairstyle & colour.
I have my last exam next friday & then the whole summer to improve my body. I have access to a bike, & i love cycling, & i can pay £50 for a gym membership for a year at my uni. i know that to loose weight i have to eat the correct foods frequently throughout the day, & to put on muscle i need lots of protein.
Recently, i have become involved with a very pretty girl, & i cant see why she would go for me, which is kind of the inspiration to change also.
Any help or tips on how to loose weight fast & feel better about yourself greatly appreciated.

You must put yourself in the correct frame of mind in order to lose weight. You have to really want to lose weight. Make a commitment.
Your goals must be realistic. It is much easier to set smaller goals. When you accomplish the smaller goal, it will give you more self confidence to be able to move on to the next goal. Try losing 1 -2 pounds each week.
Go through your kitchen & toss out or give away all of the foods that you know are not going to help you to lose weight.
Drink lots of water. Drink at least one glass of water every hour that you are awake.
Eat very slowly & really chew your food.
Don’t weigh yourself daily! Once a week is enough. Your weight fluctuates naturally, even during the day, so weighing yourself every day is simply pointless.
Do moderate exercise. Start slow & build up. Why not try walking 30 minutes each day. The exercise will make you feel better in yourself, & the feel good factor will keep you going.

I have lost 40 lbs. in 3 months & I know this will work. Eat small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, eat your last meal 2-3 hours before you go to sleep. Do not starve yourself or your body will go into survival mode where anything you eat will be turned into FAT. This will help you a lot but if you want more results you can exercise 3-4 days a week, include weight training & especially cardio (walking especially running). If you set your mind to lose the weight you will lose it & when you start seeing how good you look you’ll want to keep going.

Congrats to you on the smoking & the girl & your new attitude. Sounds like you have the right mindset & ideas.

Well if you want to get fast easy muscles get a membership to like YMCA then workout there.Then when ur done workingout try out a product called protein powder, in a spoon it has like 35g of protein so ur get cut FAST. but r=try not to stop workingout cuz then all the muscle will get flabby

A DIET IS WHAT YOU EAT….there for we are all on a diet….
THINK LIFESTYLE CHANGE
You got the change the way you think & feel about food
TRY THIS, & stick to it.
The first 3-4 weeks are the hardest until your body adjusts to the change.
Results will be in about the same time
Fruits & Veggies
Eat more plants & keep away from stuff that was made in plants.
Don’t eat anything that comes in a can, box or package….
…..THEY HAVE ADDITIVES IN THEM THAT MAKE YOU ADDICTED TO THE FOOD…..
If man made it, don’t eat it
NO white BREAD or SUGAR
NO PIZZA, I am in the pizza business, & it is not good for you, very high in FAT & Calories
NO FRIED FOOD…
Stay away from FAST FOOD
NO POP, SODA or FIZZY DRINKS
Walk your dog, or walk a friends dog
Don’t think of it as a diet, but think of it as a lifestyle change
I have lost 28.5 pounds in 3 months, drink lots of water. I usually eat a meal of what ever I want once a week….controlled portion….this really works………
Write down every thing you eat
take a multivitamin at night
