Why Is This Happening To Me Because I’m Finally Eating Healthier?

When I moved to my new neighborhood in second grade I lost a lot. Mostly, I lost my willingness to go outside, because I was one of the oldest kids in the neighborhood & everyone else was starting their families so kids were like 1 or 2. I was super skinny then from playing all the time, but when I stayed inside I gained a lot of weight.
Not all of the weight was because I shot up to 5′11″. I gained about 100 pounds since then. I’ve been overweight as long as my friends in my new school system can remember.
Now that I’m in high school, I want to seriously change. I don’t think like a fat person; I look at girl’s clothes & think they’re cute, then remember I’m fat & can’t wear them. I bum myself out all the time.
I’m eating two meals a day. I make sure I eat the required fruits & vegetables, & only drink milk & apple juice (I HATE pop)
However, since I started this diet I’ve been having diarrhea. On & off for a couple months. It hasn’t been explosive, but going to the bathroom has been harder. I don’t think it should be lack of fluids, because I substitute my hunger with liquids a lot.
Why would I finally be having problems when I’m eating healthier?

How To Stay On Track When Your Breaking An Eating Disorder?

Hey, I’m a think I m a normal girl, about 5′6″ & I weigh just under 140 lbs. The past few months I’ve been trying to break my habit of binge eating & obsessive dieting. I constantly try to skip meals & then I eat a lot in order to curb my hunger, only to feel guilty & start all over again. Ive been trying for about two months now & have forbidden myself from looking at the scale. Then last week I broke my rule & looked. I used to be 135 & even though its not that much more weight I have been freaking out ever since. I’m at the verge of a relapse, can anyone give me some tips on how to stay focused & feel more confident? I’ve been binge eating the last couple of days from stress & worry of gaining even more weight. I do exercise & eat a mostly healthy diet. Even though people do tell me positive things like I’m beautiful, I feel more inclined to think they are just being friendly.

Will I Loose Weight If I Am Exercising And Eating Healthy?

If I am running everday about 4-6 miles a day & doing 7 miles on the bike. Also taking yoga twice a week, eating very healthy with no carbs, & going in the sauna twice a week. I am on the birth control patch & wondering if it is making me gain weight. But if i workout & eat well should i loose this weight fast?

How Do I Overcome Binge Eating Before I Gain Too Much Weight?

I am fifteen & have been on a strict but healthy diet for the last six months or so. I reached a healthy weight that i was happy with & have managed to maintain it for a few months however, for the last few weeks i have recurrently been binge eating & i can’t seem to control myself- how can i get my health back on track before i gain back all the weight & my binge eating gets even more out of control?

Big healthy meals, maybe some whey protein shakes even some creatine…just make sure to take the amount that it says on the bottle. Also, lift heavy weights/less reps. EAT after a workout. The main thing is to eat good size portions especially if you are working out hard. Good luck, hope you get to the weight you want!

Eating Lots Of Dried Fruit And Peanut Butter 2 Gain Weight.is That Healthy At All?

I am trying to gain weight…kindof quickly. i noticed i will eat about 3 bags of dried fruits a day…lots of sugar & carbs…and i know its very calorie dense. just 1/4 of a cup is 160 calories & there are 26 servings…and im eating more then a bag. im also eating lots of peanuts/peanut butter, muesli, whole grain breads, baked potatoes, protein bars, frozen yogurt & sometimes some really unhealthy desserts that i would not eat before. im getting about 3,100 calories a day & im also eating foods a nutritionist told me to so i AM getting the right foods BTW. im also not exercising cuz im not allowed & i cant anyway( i hate the fact that i have to gain more fat) i cant exercise until i gain atleast 10 pounds of fat.
IS ALL THAT DRIES FRUIT HEALTHY FOR ME TO GAIN WEIGHT? its calorie, carb, & sugar dense but its fruit! im eating anyway whether its good or not, same with the frozen yogurt & peanut butter.

I Am Really Skinny And Would Like To Gain Some Weight But Eating Allot Doesn’t Help. Any Tips?

Is Binge Eating Healthy To Gain Weight If You Are Underweight?

I’m 5ft 3 & 98lbs. I have been binge eating & I’ve gained like 2lbs every few days. I probably eat around 10,000-20,000 calories a day. No joke. My stomach hurts quite a bit sometimes. It’s really, really bloated also & round. I try to balance out my diet though, so it’s not like I am eating just one thing.

About 1 1/2 weeks ago I switched my diet to strictly healthy, so all I eat is vegetables, fruit, low fat yogurt & milk, & whole grains. Hello. I am currently 18 weeks pregnant & feeling sort of depressed about my weight gain & wondered if anyone can help me. I am 5′4″ & pre-pregnancy I weighed 130 pounds. I have not been sick, but just always hungry (especially during the first trimester where I had to eat every 2 hours!) I stepped on the scale this morning & realized that I now weigh 145! I am not even half way through my pregnancy & I have already gained half of my recommended weight! Can someone give me advice or resources of where I can find a healthy “diet” or eating plan for pregnancy? I have never been overweight so I don’t have much experience with this. I just don’t want to do harm to myself or my baby by gaining too much weight. Thanks!

Is There A Way To Resume Healthy Eating Habits And Not Gain Weight Once The Body Goes Into Starvation Mode?

For about two weeks I was sick with the flu & completely lost all appetite. I would still eat, but very small quantities of food, because otherwise I would get nauseous. In the process I ended up losing about 5 pounds. Now that my flu is gone, my appetite has improved, but I don’t want to gain those 5 pounds back. I exercise & try to watch what I eat, but even so, I’ve already noticed that I’ve begun to gain the weight back. How do I stop this from happening?

I ate:
-An entire pineapple cut into slices
-An entire Cantaloupe cut into squares
-An apple
-A few pieces of watermelon
-About 50 grapes.
-A glass of fat-free milk (10 oz)
I was thinking of going Vegg tomorrow because I feel sick to my stomach from all the sugar… or maybe it’s just the vitamin supplements I have to take.

Whats The Best Way To Gain Weight While Eating Healthy?

I currently reside in Hawaii & live alone. My wife is coming to the island as soon as she graduates & this gives me the opportunity to finally change my eating habits. I will be buying my own groceries & will have someone that knows how to cook as opposed to ordering everything through a window. My question is what do I buy? Im 22 years old, 5′10 & roughly 140lbs. Im pretty skinny. Ive always had trouble gaining weight, while my genes play a role in my size I know that my poor eating habits also contribute. Im in the army & exercise regularly, Im in pretty good shape & run alot. Its difficult to find a diet to GAIN weight. Ive tried different protein shakes but nothing has ever really helped me significantly. Ive also tried different diets to just increase my calorie intake but generally I cant eat an obscene amount of food in one sitting. Untill I can maybe build up my appetite what are the best types of foods to eat so I can gain weight but still be eating healthy?

How Can You Tell The Difference Between Healthy Weight Gain And Eating Too Much?

I am 18 weeks 2 days pregnant. Obviously, I have a healthy appetite by this stage of the game. I’m a healthy eater, but, let’s face it, I slip up about once a day on my healthy diet. That salad’s just better with loads of cheese! Or my hard day made me feel like I had deserved that bowl of ice cream :) . Anyway, I gained about a pound in the first 15 weeks of my pregnancy. Since then, three weeks later, I am up to 7-8 pounds. I’m fine with gaining weight, but how do I know that it is healthy weight gain & not my appetite getting out of control? I want to gain plenty for my baby to be healthy, but I don’t want to gain too much & worry about complications that excessive weight gain can cause. (And no, I am an educated person…I’m not dieting/trying not to gain weight/or anything else for that matter while pregnant. I don’t care if I gain 80 lbs if that is what my body needs to have a healthy baby!)
