Which Is More Productive For Faster Muscle Growth: Working A Muscle Group Everyday, Or Everyother Day?
Muscles need a 24 hour rest period, so every other day is ideal. When you work your muscles you actually cause tiny tears in the muscle fibers & these need time to repair & strengthen. Work upper body one day & lower body the next day.

Which Is More Productive For Faster Muscle Growth: Working A Muscle Group Everyday, Or Everyother Day?
There is only one “muscle group” that can be worked every day – & that is the abs. Of course you can do cardio every day – but that wasn’t your question…ha ha.
If you work a muscle it need at least 24 hours to rest. Working a muscle too much will cause the muscle tissue to break down.
How Should I Lift To Stimulate Faster Muscle Growth?
Train the muscle group with at least 2 different types of lifts, 3 days per week…
Remember that working a muscle breaks down the fibers, & it is the recovery (i.e. rest) that builds the muscle back stronger & bigger. So:
Make sure you have sufficient rest between sessions (i.e. DON’T train the same muscle group within a 48 hour period…wait at least those 2 days before you work those muscles again. If you don’t rest this way, the muscle only continues to break down with no time to build.)
This is why many people train Mon/Wed/Fri.

Be sure to have
1) enough calories in your diet (and they cannot be from surgary food)
2) enough protein in your diet (at least 1gram for every 2lbs. you weigh, & more isn’t necessarily better.)
3) enough carbohydrates to power you through your workouts & sustain your hard working body
4) an influx of complex protein within an hour after your workout (whey protein powder is popular for this)
5) enough unsaturated fat in your diet (1TBSP of olive oil/day should be sufficient)
