Healthy Eating/weight Gain In Pregnancy?

I have been eating healthy & 5-6 small meals a day per my nutrionists instructions. I lost 10 lbs at the beginning of my pregnancy & now I have gained 2 back I’m 31 weeks tomorrow. My nutrionist & midwife have not been concerned but I ended up seeing the high risk OB today because I’m “measuring small” & all my babies have been small (5 lbs 2 oz, 6 lbs 4 oz, 7 lbs, & 5 lbs 14 oz) I have a history of miscarriage, low amniotic fluid, & IUGR. The OB really wants me to try to gain 8 pounds in the next few weeks. His suggestion was see my nutrionist & until then eat ice cream! I’m not trying to not gain weight but don’t like the idea of eating a ton of ice cream until I can get in with my nutrionist (in 2 weeks) any suggestions for high calorie good for you foods that I could add to my diet?

What Is Healthy Diet For A 15 Year Old (male) Trying To Gain Muscel & Weight?

I’m a 15 year old male 5′7″ 128 lbs. i have an athletic type body but I want to gain muscel & look bigger. About how many calories should I have a day & what should I have a lot of (ex: protein, carbs, etc…) I do work out every 2 days or so. I can do about 5 reps of 80lbs. And 20-30 reps of 35 lbs. thank you

im a girl (duh) who weighs 95 pounds..not too too bad but still..
and i need to start eating more..i would but im use to the hungry feeling & i ussually dont feel like it or i have my mind on something else..

I’m six foot two & I weigh 128 pounds. I always thought I ate a normal amount of food each day but I stay very thin. Whats a way I can gain weight without being unhealthy. I’m lactose intolerant so it really seems to limit my diet.

What Do I Need To Eat To Gain Healthy Weight And Muscle After Anorexia?

I’m recovering from anorexia & my arms are really skinny & the veins pop out so i havent worn short sleeves in over a year. My legs are skinny too they have no girly shape. My butt is so small it hurts my tail bone when i sit. And my boobs are small I look like a boy.
I’m eating alot better then how i did eat but i’m not seeing results fast enough.
I still exercise everyday in the mornings & at night(crunches & cardio) & i go to the gym & lift weights about 4 days a week. Is that too much?
I still count calories . I know i should’nt but my thinking is still recovering as well.
1. What do i need to eat
2. How many calories should i have
3. Am i exercising too much
4. how can i get my period back(i left that i lost my period out)
Please help me I just want to look like i did & be able to wear short sleeves again.

Help Teen Girl Gain Healthy Weight?

my daughter needs to gain about 10-12 pounds. she is almost 17, is 5′3″ tall & weighs at most 103. she is very thin & she hates it. she did have a medical problem a few months ago, we have it under control now though. at the peak of her illness she dropped to 89 pounds. so some of the weight has come back, but she has reached a plateau. we have altered her diet, added ensure, more calories & she just cant gain. someone told me about a product called “muscle milk” i guess it helps put on pounds, but i want it to be healthy weight. is this a product anyone has heard of & is it safe?
any help you can offer would be great, the poor thing is moping around crying because she hates what she sees in the mirror. other than that she is model material, has been approached by a couple of agencies.

How Can I Put On Healthy Weight?

Hiya. I’m a 20 year old female, 5′3″ & I weigh 7 & a half stone. I’m a UK size 6-8 (usually an 8) but I really want to put on some healthy weight as I think I am too thin.
I have always been slim, even as a child. But to be honest, I want to be curvier & also look a bit healthier too.
I don’t do a lot of exercise (bad, I know) but I don’t seem to gain weight either. So it’s not as if I’m burning it all off! Walking is my only exercise.
I have a good appetite (I eat all the good stuff, lots of meat, veg etc.) but I don’t seem to change weight.
Someone once said to me in a restaurant “how can you eat so much & be so skinny?”. I swear, everyone around me must of thought I was Bulimic or something, when I’m not.
Is there anything I can do to healthily put on some more weight? Or do you think I will be one of those girls who is just naturally slim all her life? No bitchy comments please. I do seriously want to put on weight: I especially want bigger boobs without surgery, lol.

Increase protein intake. Eat lots of lean meat. Take away the fatty portions.

How Soon Do You Lose Or Gain Weight After Being Really Healthy Or Unhealthy?

If I eat really healthy or really unhealthy, how long before I actually gain or lose that much weight?
I know it takes about 3500 extra calories one way or the other (burned or consumed) to gain or lose a pound. But assuming you ate, or dieted & worked out, enough in one day to gain or lose 1 pound (for simplicity’s sake–I know it wouldnt actually be healthy) how long would it take for your scale to note the difference? And how soon before your clothes fit better or worse, if thats a different amount of time?
