Do Whey Protein Shakes Actually Make U Gain Weight? Or Is It Safe To Use For A Healthy Diet?
Well, protein has calories. If you add these shakes to your daily diet, & you have maintained your weight up to this point, & are making no other changes to your diet, then theoretically, yes, you could gain weight. Why are you adding these? Are you concerned you aren’t getting enough protein? If so, they are a viable option… try them out, see how you feel after a week or so. Monitor your weight, & maybe cut back on some junk food while you are trying it out.
Non-whey Shakes / Protein Supplements?
I’ve been allergic to Whey all my life, can’t even take a glass of milk without getting sick. But I workout, & have been told numerous times Whey is the perfect source of fast acting protein to have to build muscle after a workout. So, that sucks for me.
I was wondering if anyone had a source of Non-Whey shake mix that can still boost similar recovery & muscle growth? Or if they know any protein food that, when eaten after a workout, has the same effect as a Whey shake. Any & All help is welcomed!
Will Drinking Protein Shakes On A Regular Basis Make Me Put On Weight Towards My Face?
I’ve just started hitting the gym with a high protein & carbs diet.
I have very high cheekbones & i’m abit concerned that they may get covered if I put on weight.
What Type Of Protein/weight Gain Shakes Are There?
Im trying to gain muscle & weight, but I’m not sure what makes or types of drink are the best for this. I’m 17, so I’m not looking for extreme drinks, but just something which will make me gain muscle & weight. Any recommendations/tips? Thanks.
