Why Are My Clothes Tighter The More I Work Out? Do You Gain Before You Lose?

For the last month I have been working out alot. Lots of cardio along with weight training. You would think I would be losing weight but my clothes keep getting tighter. I build muscle fast but shouldn’t the fat be falling off? My diet is very healthy & I don’t over indulge in alcohol. I feel lots of muscle growth & see me toning up but the weight is not coming off. I’m very frusturated!

How Can I Gain More Muscle Mass And Weight?

I’m pretty sure that this might be practically impossible because I have a very fast metabolism. I eat the average I’m suppose to & even snacks but I’m only around 110lbs. My height is fair though, 5′ 7″. I want to know how to gain a little more weight (the healthy way) & a little muscle in my arms & upper body. Also maybe abs? How long would it take to develop a 6 pack doing crunches/situps, I’m not in a hurry for it, one or two years would be an okay amount of time. Oh, & I don’t really plan on lifting weights since it’ll stunt my growth & whatnot. Plus I’m not a big fan of going to the gym & trying to lift something & looking like an idiot. Thanks in advance!

I Need To Gain Weight, Fast! Help!?

im 5′8, thirteen years old & i weigh between 100-105 pounds. ive always been skinny, but when i was 12 i had a growth spurt & suddenly looked alot thinner. i want to gain weight (not fat though, muscle.) & i want to be seeing improvements withink 3 monthes (not drastic improvements, but atleast slight ones.) can anyone tell me workouts i should do, or explain what i should eat? i drink alot of milk, but i have a REALLY small appetite. please help, im unbelievably self consious of my looks, & would like to look better & be healthier.

Whey Protein – Advice Please.?

Hello, I’m 17, 5′7 & weigh 63kg.
So I’m not skinny, nor fat.
I recently purchased some whey protein from myprotein.co.uk
My current work out isn’t very long or dear. I know I’m supposed to take it post workout – within 30minutes, but I was wondering when else do I take it, & on non-workout days, when should I take it?
I’m looking to enlarge my muscles.
One final question – The more intense my workout is, the faster I will be able to enhance muscle growth through protein?
( I know what protein does, & how it works, just wanting to get a second opinion)

Question About Puberty?

Hi I’m 15 & 5ft5-6 & am unsure at which stage I am at in puberty.
I have dark black pubes mainly around the base but I can see the start of blonde hair growing at around the pelvic region too.
My voice hasn’t broken but at the same time it’s not too high.
I have a decent amount of armpit hair which is brown & quite long.
anyway , the point of my question is when do you think my penis will to grow?
Its grown about an inch in the past two years & thats it.
It’s only four inches & is really quite embarassing seeing as I go to partys & usually get with girls. I drink about once every three weeks, usually around 5 cans on beer or 1/4 of vodka, could this slow down puberty?
Plus I have just got a membership at the gym & do weights & things
I am getting much stronger but not much muscle is showing, will it appear more at a later stage in puberty. Will building muscle effect puberty or growth?
last question, what can prevent penis growth , I want to watch out for things that prevent growth so I make sure it grows faster.

I’m A Skinny Guy Wanting To Build Muscle, Help!?

i am a 21 year old male. i’m 5′8” & i weigh 130 lbs & i’ve been at this weight for the past 6 years & im tired of having twigs for arms & chicken legs. i know i have a fast motabolism n its hard for me to eat alot, though i do try. i’ve lifted weights 2-5 times a week for the past 8 years but have never been able to grow real muscle. i can get toned & ripped but no growth. i’ve tried creatine & protein shakes but its just so hard for me to gain inches or pounds. i onced gained 5 pounds but i think that was all water weight because a few weeks later it was gone. The routines & exercises on the majority of the websites & magazines dont work for me.
Can anyone give me good advice on how to build muscle? I’m looking for advice specific to my body type; small build, fast metabolism…..skinny.

Question On Muscle Growth?

I was working out 6 times a week. Days 1, 3, 5 were biceps, forearms, triceps. Days 2, 4, 6 were chest, upper-chest & shoulders & have a protein shake after my workouts. Well lately I’ve been working out less, like 1-2 times a week & still drinking my protein shakes after my workouts & have noticed actually my muscle getting a lot bigger & faster than they were. Why is this?

What Position Would I Be?

I’ll probably be about 5 foot 10 & 135 pounds as a freshman in high school. I’m pretty skinny but I hope to add some muscle over the summer. I played power forward this year because of a growth spurt plus my team was pretty small. I got the majority of my teams rebounds probably between 5-15 a game. I also got 3 or 4 blocks a game (I had 7 blocks in one game & six in another.) I had a few steals a game & lots of good passes to guards on fast breaks. Our guards didn’t pass the ball inside much so I only got 5-10 points a game. I can consistently knock down open shots & have range up to 15-18 feet with occasional 3’s. I’m not afraid to take charges or drive & get fouled where I shoot about 60-70%. I’m comfotable at sg or sf but can play pg or pf if I absolutely have to. What position should I try out for in high school.

Is It Possible To Gain Mass And Reduce Fat At The Same Time From Martial Arts? Can I Get Bigger Muscles?

I know that Martial arts, combined with some compound exercises, are a great way to develop, lengthen, & strengthen your muscles. I see a lot of fighters that have large muscle mass, but are also incredibly ripped.
Is it possible, by practicing along with working out, to gain muscle & become ripped at the same time? Since muscle growth requires more caloric intake, & burning fat requires less caloric intake — I see a huge problem here. Yet, there are thousands of fighters who defy this very ideal. Wish to gain more muscle & more mass, but also be ripped up. And i’d like to achieve this as fast as possible. Time, motivation, & application are of little consequence. I am a very headstrong person with my goals.

Becoming Good At Gymnastics?

hey. i have been doing gymnastics for a term now. i’m 13 but i pick up tricks really fast… my teacher says i am the best in the class, because i have more strength than any one (most of the other people are only 11) & i haven’t had my big “muscle growth spurt” from puberty yet…
i can only do gymnastics for 1 & a half hours a week so what is some stuff i can do at home? i do lots of stuff on the trampoline & on grass like handsprings & stuff… i also do fitness training every day with my dad…
so… do you think i could ever become pretty good… like i said how can i train at home?
