Is Yogurt Healthy For A Diet To Lose Weight?

okay so my new years resolution is to lose weight. i’ve never been on a diet or tried to do the diet thing, but i find my motabolism is slowing down & my size 8 jeans are getting snug. i’ve been the same size for a while, but as with every lady in my family they all gain weight after graduating from high school. i don’t want “the freshmen 15″ i don’t want to gain weight & i want to eat healthier. i am also working on my cardio & on an ab lounge… so any tips on healthy foods! HELP!? Thanks a lot!

Do Whey Protein Shakes Actually Make U Gain Weight? Or Is It Safe To Use For A Healthy Diet?

Well, protein has calories. If you add these shakes to your daily diet, & you have maintained your weight up to this point, & are making no other changes to your diet, then theoretically, yes, you could gain weight. Why are you adding these? Are you concerned you aren’t getting enough protein? If so, they are a viable option… try them out, see how you feel after a week or so. Monitor your weight, & maybe cut back on some junk food while you are trying it out.

Healthy Weight Gain Ideas…anyone?

Hi! I’m 21, stands 5′1 & 41kg. I want to gain some weight but in healthy way. I eat rice 3 times a day, eat fried food everyday, 1 bar of chocolate a day, 2 burgers a day. That is my diet & for 3yrs I still weight 41kg. I feel like I’m putting my health in jeopardy doing these stuff but I want to gain weight even just 10kg. Hope you have any ideas how i can gain wt in healthy way.

Gaining Weight The Healthy Way?

I was doing a BMI test on the internet & it told me that i was in the underweight section. I would need to gain around 5 kilos to be in the healthy weight range. Does anyone know a way i can gain weight in a healthy way?
I know alot of people would be like “Some people are just naturaly skinny, be happy with the way you are” i dont realy like the way my body looks, i look too skinny & i dont look healthy. Thats why i want to gain a little bit more weight.

Is My Diet Healthy Enough And Will I Gain Weight With It?

this is my daily diet. i am currently in the 10th grade of school, 15 years old & this is what i eat.
breakfast: special k cerial with no fat milk with 1 bannana & 1 glass of V8 juice.
reecess (4 hours later): 97% fat free yogurt (strawberry flavour) & an apple.
Lunch(75 minutes later): sandwich with wholegrain bread, tuna or ham with lettuce & tomato.
after school snack( 2 hours later): glass of no fat milk & 1 bannana.
Dinner(3 hours later): either plate of pasta or meat with salad & vegetables.

Im 5′2 & weight 110lbs. I think I look too skinny. I want to be around 117lbs.I excersise about 4x a wk. But I cant jepordize my diet. I cant eat too much sodium, fat or processed foods. Anybody know a way to gaing weight eating healty foods & still exercising.

Why Is This Happening To Me Because I’m Finally Eating Healthier?

When I moved to my new neighborhood in second grade I lost a lot. Mostly, I lost my willingness to go outside, because I was one of the oldest kids in the neighborhood & everyone else was starting their families so kids were like 1 or 2. I was super skinny then from playing all the time, but when I stayed inside I gained a lot of weight.
Not all of the weight was because I shot up to 5′11″. I gained about 100 pounds since then. I’ve been overweight as long as my friends in my new school system can remember.
Now that I’m in high school, I want to seriously change. I don’t think like a fat person; I look at girl’s clothes & think they’re cute, then remember I’m fat & can’t wear them. I bum myself out all the time.
I’m eating two meals a day. I make sure I eat the required fruits & vegetables, & only drink milk & apple juice (I HATE pop)
However, since I started this diet I’ve been having diarrhea. On & off for a couple months. It hasn’t been explosive, but going to the bathroom has been harder. I don’t think it should be lack of fluids, because I substitute my hunger with liquids a lot.
Why would I finally be having problems when I’m eating healthier?

Does Yogurt Help In A Weight Loss Diet?

I eat a lot of yogurt, most of the time i have yogurt for breakfast. I have low fat yogurts but does the dairy goods make you gain weight because i have been keeping my calorie count 2000 or lower & i have been doing kickboxing for 20-45 min a day but im not losing weight HELP PLEASE & if you know any low calorie healthy meal ideas please post them too.

hey, Parkdale student here. it is i, once more if i may asking this same ol’ retarted question, that all girls ask in their teens.how do i, 5 foot 4 inches become petite, skinny. example: sandra bullock, whom plays off of the movie “all about steve”, salena gomez whom plays in wizards of waverly play”family channel.” victoria justice, plays in zoey101 also on family channel(i could go on, but i wont.) anywho i am tired of seeing beautiful woman walk on by, asking them how are they the way they are. always getting this same old answer, that i am so sick of hearing,”oh, me? i dont know, genetics? my matabolic rate?” i understand some people are lucky, but please help me out here, i dont just see people whom are petite, skinny. i live with them! i go to school with them, heck! i am best friends with them! what i am trying to say is, may you help out an ugly ginger? someone who is ugly all over & would just love to step into someone elses shoes. i have tried dieting, like running, swimming eating healthy. but all i ended up with is getting muscles. i am much too young to try pills, for i am only 14. oh wait! i am too young to diet, i am still growing, is that what you’re thinking? please dont! i just want to look beautiful, to wear skinny jeans, & say “hey, is that really me?” if i cant have beautiful hair, or good skin, may i at least be thin, really thin, petite!? please, if you have dieted & lost a whole bunch of weight, not gaining any retarded muscles,tell me? what did you do. i know what you’re thinking again, “muscles are good for you, they keep fat away.” i already know that! i dont care if i am flabby, i just want to be skinny! thin if i may. because pretty soon i am just going to try the water diet, witch makes you thin, just i cant eat anything! just drink water. so if you have heard, seen, tried, getting thin, petite & know it works, tell me! thank you for your time, good bye.
